In addition to this blog being dedicated to both puppy & the memorial of an abandoned child who was discarded in the trash can of the Long Branch, NJ Third Avenue train station on Independence Day, July 4, 2005.
This blog will also journal posts and approved commentators associated with issues of The English Mastiff as a breed and it’s owners.
Her parents remain unknown. She died within moments of her abandonment. I moved from the floor of the LB Council Chambers in August 2005 to at least give the new born human child a name. The council honored my request and passed a resolution # 255-05 giving the unknown deceased infant the name “Baby Independence!
On July 23, 2007 I adopted an English Mastiff puppy and in the honor of the child I have named her “Baby Independence of Long Branch.”
